About the Jamiyyah

Knowledge, offered with mercy

IKRAM exists to make authentic Islamic knowledge accessible, beautiful, and lived — guiding hearts gently back to their Creator.

IKRAM began with a simple conviction: that the greatest gift one person can give another is to point them toward Allah. In a time of noise and distraction, sincere and grounded knowledge has never been more needed — and never more scattered.

We are a community of students and teachers who gather around the Qur'ān and the authentic Sunnah, learning together and passing on what we learn. Our work is not tied to fame or following; it is measured only by whether a heart drew nearer to its Lord because of it.

"The best of you are those who learn the Qur'ān and teach it." — Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī

Whether you are taking your first steps in the religion or have walked the path for years, there is a place for you here — to learn, to ask, and to grow without judgement.

تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

"Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honour."

Sūrah ar-Raḥmān · 55:78
Why "Ikrām"

A name drawn from the Qur'ān

Our name comes from the divine description the Owner of Majesty and Honour, mentioned twice in Sūrah ar-Raḥmān. Ikrām carries the meanings of honouring, generosity, and ennobling — it reminds us how to treat the knowledge we carry, how to treat the people we invite, and above all, how we hope to be received by our Most Generous Lord.

Our compass

Mission & vision

Our mission

To spread beneficial knowledge rooted in the Qur'ān and Sunnah, and to invite people to Allah with wisdom, gentleness, and beautiful conduct — making sound learning accessible to everyone, regardless of background or language.

What guides us

Our values

01

Authenticity

We teach from the Qur'ān, the authentic Sunnah, and the understanding of the scholars — never opinion dressed as knowledge.

02

Mercy in da'wah

We invite, we do not condemn. The Prophet ﷺ was sent as a mercy, and we strive to reflect that in every interaction.

03

Sincerity

Our work is for the sake of Allah alone. We seek no fame, no following, and no reward except from Him.

04

Excellence

Iḥsān in everything — in how we teach, how we serve, and how we present this religion to the world.

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ

"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah?"

Sūrah Fuṣṣilat · 41:33
